SNAP New Orleans Press Conference on Friday, October 16

As Archbishop Gregory Aymond meets with archdiocesan clergy on  Friday afternoon, SNAP New Orleans will hold a press event to bring attention to the continuing scandals in New Orleans and call for Archbishop Aymond's resignation.

SNAP New Orleans is coordinating a media event at Friday at 3:30 PM at 2901 S. Carrollton Ave on the sidewalk in front of Notre Dame Seminary. We will call attention to the priests who were removed from ministry and the inclusion of 7 Franciscan friars who were added to the list of 70 abusive clerics!
All of the news television and print media were invited. The New Orleans media have been tremendously supportive of our efforts to expose the lack of clergy abuse accountability.
This is a peaceful event. Please wear a mask. We will have some signs, or you may bring your own. We will be discussing some of the recent scandals in New Orleans and will restate our asks to the Pope and Apostolic Nuncio in light of this latest news. Based on Vatican rules, Pope Francis has one week from this Friday to respond to our request to investigate the Archbishop’s poor leadership.
