Faribault prep school paid teacher who had porn on computer

FARIBAULT — Police reports and court documents show the head of Shattuck-St. Mary's School agreed to pay $12,500 to a teacher who had child pornography on his work computer to get him to quietly leave, years before the teacher was charged and convicted of sexually abusing students at the school.

A settlement has been reached between 232 plaintiffs who were sexually abused by priests and nuns.

It happened from the 1930s to the 1970s at the Ursuline Academy in St. Ignatius, which is located about 40 miles north of Missoula.
