This extraordinary event promises exquisite food and drink, inspiration from insightful and at times humorous speakers, stories of courage, survival and an exclusive, inside look at the work and future of an organization that has changed lives, held the church accountable for cover-up and inaction, broke historic new ground in the fight against institutional abuse and been at the forefront of change, healing and justice.
Additional details:
Garry Wills is Professor of History Emeritus at Northwestern University, and was awarded the Pulitzer Prize in 1993 for his study of Abraham Lincoln, Lincoln at Gettysburg: The Words That Remade America. His latest book, Why Priests? A Failed Tradition, was published in February 2013. The book will be available for sale and he is willing to autograph them.
The event will be held either in the midst of or just following the conclave. What better place to be than with this group to speculate about the future of the church?
This event is hosted by: Larry Suffredin and Gloria Callaci, Dan and Sheila Daley, Nancy Cusack, Sheila Murphy and Patrick Racey, Mary Ann and Bob Savard, and Peter Mayock
