Daniel Lanctot has been working with marginalized populations and carrying out various artistic endeavors. He has lived in Cambodia and working as a documentary filmmaker focusing on human right issues directing an educational film about male victims of sexual abuse in Cambodia. This film is used in workshops to educate Cambodians about how to better protect boys and provide services for male survivors of sexual abuse. He works with clients in a community mental health clinic, residential treatment facilities for children and teens, and at an LGBTQ affirmative private practice. He holds master's degree in art therapy.
