Rabbi arrested in New Jersey, SNAP responds
Our hearts ache for the young victims of this alleged child predator. No child should be put through this torture, especially one that is thousands of miles from home on a trip meant to further his or her education. This is a reprehensible betrayal, and we applaud the FBI for making sure Rabbi Rivlin will be unable to hurt more kids.
Since this “scholarship fund” was set up 12 years ago, we believe there are likely more victims who are suffering in silence and shame. We hope that news of Rivlin’s arrest will encourage these victims to come forward, report their abuse to police, and start healing.
