Help us protect children!

We are victims of predatory priests, working to safeguard the vulnerable, heal the wounded expose the truth, and stop current and future cover-ups of horrific crimes against kids. We belong to a support group called SNAP (the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests). 

Here are at least five publicly accused predator priests who are ‘under the radar’ in central Wisconsin. They have been publicly exposed for child sex crimes elsewhere, spent time in the LaCrosse diocese, but are virtually unknown here. They are:

--Fr. Daniel Budzynski, who is on the Milwaukee archdiocese’s list of priests fully restricted from ministry because of credible allegations of abuse. He spent time in Stevens Point and Eau Claire and has admitted molesting at least 30 boys.

--Fr. John C. Wagner, who is on the Milwaukee archdiocesan website as "Fully Restricted from Priestly Ministry" because of abuse allegations and is/was in Wausau.

--Fr. Raymond J. Adamsky, who is on the Milwaukee archdiocese's list of priests fully restricted from ministry because of credible allegations of abuse and was, according to church records, in Wausau to receive ‘treatment.’

--Fr. Donald Francis Ulatowski, who is listed on the Chicago archdiocese’s list of credibly accused predator priests and lived in Adams, according to church records. (deceased)

--Fr. Thomas J. Powers, who is on the Jesuits’ list of credibly accused abusive clerics. He was a chaplain at Fort McCoy in Monroe County WI.

One or more of these clerics may still live in central Wisconsin, so LaCrosse church officials should disclose their presence in the diocese and aggressively use church bulletins, parish websites and pulpit announcements to beg those with information or suspicions about crimes or cover ups to call law enforcement. We believe that’s what Jesus would do.

According to an independent, on-live archive called BishopAccountability.org, there are ten other proven, admitted or credibly accused child molesting LaCrosse area clerics: Bruce E. Ball, Raymond H. Bornbach, Thomas F. Dempsey, “Fr. John Doe,” James E. Ennis, Thomas Garthwaite, James E. Mason, Timothy E. Svea, David Szatkowski and Patrick A.Umberger.

Over the past 17 years, most US bishops have released lists of credibly accused child molesting clerics in their dioceses. But LaCrosse Bishop William Callahan refuses to do so.

For the safety of kids, please call and askCallahan (608788 7700)to permanently post on church websites the names of ALL credibly accused church staff. Every day a proven or suspected child molester stays hidden kids are needlessly at risk of great harm.

 For the healing of victims, please ask your relatives and loved ones if they were ever hurt by any of these priests. If so, please urge them to call police, therapists or our group.
