For immediate release: Friday, Feb 19, 2016

Statement by: Judy Jones, SNAP Midwest Associate Director, 636-433-2511[email protected]

A former assistant coach at Wheeling Jesuit University and YMCA counselor has been charged of sex crimes against a minor  We hope that

--anyone who may have seen, suspected or suffered his crimes will call law enforcement immediately,

--officials at the YMCA and at Wheeling Jesuit – along with Bishop Michael J. Bransfield - will aggressively seek out other possible victims, witnesses and whistleblowers.

Maqsood Harrington is accused of sex crimes against a 17-year-old girl at the YMCA,  We fear he may have hurt others at Wheeling Jesuit and St. Clairsville High School.

We hope every single person who saw, suspected or suffered crimes by Harrington will find the strength to call police, expose wrongdoers and protect kids.
