Remarks at Eric's Memorial Service, by Mary Grant
"Back in the early and mid
90s there were few victims speaking out. But Eric took
the risk and did it. Eric was incredibly courageous and articulate.
He was sure of himself and with dignity and clarity, he spoke
his truth. He told how he was assaulted when he was only 11
and 12 yrs old. The LA Times even wrote about Eric. More than
anything he wanted to heal himself and protect others.

Vincent (Starry, Starry Night)
Song by Don McLean
Starry, starry night
Paint your palette blue and gray
Look out on a summer's day
With eyes that know the darkness in my soul
Shadows on the hills
Sketch the trees and the daffodils
Catch the breeze and the winter chills
In colors on the snowy linen land
