2007 STORY #14 – UNSPEAKABLE HORRORS

The veterans of WW II can say they endured the unspeakable horrors of war for a noble cause.  It helps to relieve the pain.  Those of us who have suffered betrayal via trusted pedophiliac clergy also have a basis for believing it might have accomplished a bit of good.  We helped uncover the American Catholic hierarchy for the hypocrites too many of them are.  Ordinary criminals go to prison.  But politicians don't dare prosecute bishops.

It required the independence of a few newspapers to begin the unmasking of the Church's perfidy.  Many Catholics insist on denying their bishops' crimes.  The very intensity of our wounded psyches make the case sufficiently strong to shake Catholics from their denial and reveal those bishops for the devils they are.
