Help us to protect kids!

WHO WE ARE

We belong to a support group called SNAP, the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests

WHY WE’RE HERE

We want to protect kids, deter wrongdoing and expose clerics who commit and conceal clergy sex crimes. And we want you to help us prod Catholic officials do take tangible steps to safeguard others.

Specifically, we want bishops to

-- post names of proven, admitted and credibly accused child molesting clerics on church websites.

-- aggressively seek out and help the thousands of victims who are still trapped in silence, shame and self-blame.

We also want Pope Francis to defrock, demote or discipline bishops who continue to protect predators and endanger kids by keeping names of child molesting clerics’ names secret.

And we want you, rank-and-file Catholics, to circulate the names of publicly accused predator priests in your dioceses and ask your loved ones if any of them were hurt by any of these priests.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

--Go to BishopAccountability.org and see the list of abusive clerics in your diocese.

--Ask your friends and relatives “Did any of these priests ever hurt you or your family members?”

--If so, beg them to call the independent professionals in law enforcement and get therapeutic help.

--Tell your bishop to “come clean” and put names, photos and whereabouts of predator priests on parish and diocesan websites, so that kids will be safer and victims will feel validated.

REMEMBER - It takes only a few seconds for a predator to shove his tongue in a girl’s mouth or his hand down a boy’s pants, potentially causing a lifetime of serious harm to an innocent child. Help prevent this! Warn others about dangerous and potentially dangerous priests, nuns and church workers.

And remember: most child molesting clerics now live among unsuspecting families and neighbors who are unaware of the crimes they’ve committed. Please help them learn of the danger among them.
