Ottawa priest convicted of molesting boys back in jail after allegedly visiting kids pool 96 times

A disgraced Ottawa priest convicted of molesting altar boys in the 1960s and 1970s has been re-arrested after he allegedly visited a Lowertown swimming pool frequented by children – a breach of his release conditions – nearly 100 times.

Gatineau police arrested Jacques Faucher, 80, on Monday, nine days before he was scheduled to be sentenced on historical sex crimes involving three children. Faucher was free on bail while awaiting sentencing. 

Police allege he attended the kids section of the Ottawa Lowertown Community Centre and Pool 96 times between Nov. 24, 2015 and Dec. 22, 2016, according to court documents. The documents claim he did  . . .

    For soo long priests and Pastor abusers have had little to no earthly accountability. That must change. We are now watching.

    A convicted child molester priest-awaiting sentencing-visiting a swimming pool over a hundred times. This emphasizes the problem of having undocumented priest child molesters. And thousands have gone free and are undocumented.

    This articles attests to how difficult it is just keeping children safe from the ones who have been convicted imagine the thousands that have gone scot-free and are lurking in your neighborhood, by the schools, the swimming pools, the playgrounds, your church. Thousand of priest child molesters are free and undocumented-like hidden ticking time bombs. This is why bishops need to disclose- ALL cases of priest child molesters regardless of how long ago it happened.
