Other Ways To Give

Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests (SNAP) offers a variety of ways through which charitable donations may be made. To learn more about any of the ways to give, please contact Patrick Price, Fundraising and Development Manager, at (312) 321-4470 or [email protected].

Cash Gifts are acceptable in any form (i.e., cash, check, or debit or credit card) and in any amount. Checks should be made out to Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests and then sent to:

Tribute Gifts are a meaningful way to support SNAP’s services and programs while honoring or memorializing special people in your life. These gifts can be processed via our downloadable Tribute Gift Donation Form, which can then be mailed to our office. Notification of these gifts takes approximately two weeks to process and send.

Sustaining Gifts are ongoing financial commitments with a start but no specific end date. Donors can generate recurring/sustaining gifts online by completing the form provided by Nation Builder, the organization’s online merchant service provider.

Matched Gifts are donations from corporations or businesses that match charitable gifts from employees (or retirees) at a specific ratio set by the employer, the most common being 1:1. All matching gifts require that the employee (or retiree) completes a matching gift form that is then provided to SNAP to confirm the individual’s gift and returned by SNAP to the employer. Find out if your employer will match your donation to SNAP.

Publicly Traded Securities (Stock) may be donated to SNAP. Whether you are a supporter who wishes to make a donation of publicly traded securities to SNAP or a broker whose client wishes to make a stock donation to SNAP, please review the Stock Donation Instructions and share them with your broker or client.

Planned Giving is a contribution that is arranged in the present and allocated at a future date, commonly through a will or trust once the donor has passed away. SNAP is dependent upon the thoughtful generosity of its members and friends whose forward-looking philanthropic contributions will ensure the continued success of the organization. These gifts enable us to honor the past, support the present, and provide for the future.

A Bequest or codicil in your will or trust is an easy way to make a deferred gift to SNAP. To share the details about your bequest as a source of future funding for SNAP, please complete the attached Bequest Intention Form.

Facebook Fundraisers are a great way to use social media to raise money in support of SNAP. Perhaps you have a birthday, graduation, anniversary or other special occasion you wish to celebrate with friends near and far. Using your personal Facebook page, you can reach out to family, friends and colleagues to announce your celebration and request a charitable donation to SNAP in lieu of a gift,

AmazonSmile will donate 0.5% of the price of your purchase to Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests. It's such an easy way to support SNAP, so start your shopping at https://smile.amazon.com/ today!

Because of the sensitivity of survivors, all donations to SNAP will remain anonymous unless you specify otherwise.
