Once again another Pittsburgh Priest is Accused of Sex Abuse: SNAP responds

Another priest from the Diocese of Pittsburgh has been removed for child sexual abuse.

We call on Pittsburgh catholic officials to aggressively reach out to other victims and witnesses who may have knowledge or may have been harmed by Fr Robert Cedolia, to contact law enforcement. Church officials are not the proper officials to be investigating child sex crimes.

Also, Bishop Zubik should visit every parishes where Cedolia worked, and reach out to parishioners in case there are others who may have been harmed.

We hope that this news will encourage others who may have been abused in Pittsburgh to come forward, make a report to police and prosecutors, and find support from family, independent therapists, or support groups like ours.
