OH- Ohio priest says abuse charges filed too late, SNAP responds
A Cincinnati priest is pleading not guilty to abusing a 10-year-old boy and is seeking to exploit a legal technicality, claiming that the charges against him have been filed too late.
Fr. Robert Poandl is accused of molesting a boy in 1991. He belongs to a religious order called the Glenmary Home Missioners
We believe that all victims are entitled to a fair legal process regardless of when the abuse occurred. It takes courage and often many years for victims to report crimes that are committed against them at a young age.
We urge the court to consider Fr. Poandl’s crime as what it was, the horrific sexual abuse of a child, regardless of when it happened. We also urge any witnesses or victims to come forward.

A few months ago I started a petition and just the other day I had to renew my petition" on the White House site & Moveon.org "
in BOLD letters on my petition it reads; Stop Child Sex Abuse; Abolish the Statute of Limitation;
-and I had until 2001 to file —well-my memorys of it did not return until 2004——- Now that is over 30 years—about the time a abuse victim can EVEN BEGIN TO FEEL COMFORTABLE ENOUGH TO EVEN TALK ABOUT ABUSE — SO I THINK THIS VICTIM HAS COURAGE
