At least 7 more people told the Vatican they were sexually abused as boys by Theodore McCarrick, according to sources

Theodore McCarrick, a former D.C. archbishop and cardinal who was defrocked this year amid allegations he sexually abused two minors and sexually harassed seminarians, is facing new accusations that he abused at least seven boys from around 1970 until 1990, according to three sources, including a person with direct knowledge of the claims U.S. church officials sent to the Vatican in January.

45 years later, 'Uncle Raggy,' ex-youth minister, indicted in sexual abuse case

A former youth minister has been indicted on a sexual abuse charge stemming from an alleged incident that took place nearly 45 years ago. Dural Reece Ragsdale, 71, known as "Uncle Raggy" on his now shuttered YouTube channel, turned himself in to the Tishomingo County Jail Monday afternoon. He was charged with fondling, a felony.
