It’s been two months since the victim first reported her abuse by Klein to Catholic officials. It’s been two weeks since she met face-to-face and divulged more about her abuse by Klein to Catholic officials.
Internal church memo shows delays in priest announcements
In a recent memo to Philly priests (below), a bishop says "Not all investigations (into priests accused of sexually abusing kids) will be completed at the same time; therefore, it is anticipated that three to five cases will be announced at a time."
That's irresponsible.

Priest begins jail sentence for child sex crimes
Tomorrow, a serial predator priest, Fr. Alejandro “Alex” Castillo will be taken in to custody in order to serve his prison time for pleading guilty to child sexual abuse. A year ago, he was removed from Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Ontario when allegations surfaced that he abused two brothers within last two years.

Imagine if a gang member with a long criminal record announced he was reforming and would start cooperating with police voluntarily, but in reality he continues to submit to police questioning only when subpoenaed? Does that sound like a genuine change of heart? That’s essentially what the Chicago archdiocese is doing with clergy sex abuse and cover up lawsuits.
