We are grateful to this brave victim, her mother, and law enforcement for pursuing this predator. Kids are safer now that he’ll be locked up.


School staff ignored child sex abuse report; SNAP responds

We are stunned by the apparent callousness of these school staffers, and we are grateful to law enforcement officials for pursuing these charges. We hope prosecutors push hard for the maximum penalties for each of the defendants. If this teacher and these administrators are found guilty, we hope that education authorities consider penalizing the school itself for this egregious wrongdoing.

We are both grateful and worried about Fr. Superiaso being deported to the Philippines. We are thankful he won’t be able to hurt kids here anymore, but we fear that kids in his home country will be vulnerable to his attacks.

The Marianists are a St. Louis-based Catholic religious order that runs, and has run, parochial high schools like Vianney, Chaminade, St. Mary’s and McBride (now closed).

A Chicago serial predator priest is trying to win his freedom from a Wisconsin prison. For the safety of kids, we hope he stays behind bars. 


Rabbi arrested in New Jersey, SNAP responds

Our hearts ache for the young victims of this alleged child predator. No child should be put through this torture, especially one that is thousands of miles from home on a trip meant to further his or her education. This is a reprehensible betrayal, and we applaud the FBI for making sure Rabbi Rivlin will be unable to hurt more kids.
