John Carlos Frey born in Tijuana, Mexico is an Emmy Award winning, Mexican-American freelance investigative reporter and documentary filmmaker based in Los Angeles. John Carlos will be joining us to talk about his new film "THE NEW RATLINE" which tells the story behind the alleged sexual crimes of Father Jesus Suarez, a priest who targeted Latin American women and children for his own manipulations. Theresa Wilder - Starting at 4:15 ET / 3:15 CT / 2:15 MT / 1:15 MT
Theresa is a trauma-certified yogi, meditation guide, and trauma survivor. She first turned to yoga in her twenties to help her get a better handle on her own mental health and now teaches others who have experienced adverse experiences how yoga can help people deal with negative feelings, intrusive thoughts, and other lingering symptoms of trauma. She believes deeply in the power of the body to heal the mind and that a trauma informed approach can be beneficial to all.
Cathy Driscoll, PhD - Starting at 5 PM ET / 4 PM CT / 3 PM MT / 2 PM PT
Cathy Driscoll is a Professor in the Department of Management in the Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She received her Ph.D. in organizational behavior and marketing from Queen’s University. Her primary research interests lie in the area of business ethics, management education, and spiritual and religious values in ethical decision making. Cathy’s work has been published in numerous academic journals and books, as well as in other media. She has been a presenter, panelist, keynote speaker, moderator, and commentator at regional, national, and international conferences. She has facilitated workshops and participated in podcasts on moral disengagement and leadership failure in the context of the cover-up of clergy sexual abuse.
Cathy will join us to discuss her latest work, "Faulty ‘Good Faith’: A Study of Safeguarding Reporting Mechanisms in the Canadian Catholic Church."
