Australia- Sex abuse trial for Arctic priest

For immediate release Wednesday, May 28, 2014

Statement by Barbara Dorris, SNAP Outreach Director, 314 503 0003, [email protected]

Regardless of the verdict these brave victims are to be commended. They reached out with courage and through a great deal of personal pain to expose the truth of the sexual violence they endured as children. Because of them Dejaeger will not find it so easy to violate other children in the future. The world is on notice now regarding his history and the danger he poses. Many thanks to each of the victims who told of their experiences in the trial.
