Ruth Krall was, before retirement, a registered nurse with a specialty in psychiatric-community mental health nursing. Later, she became a pastoral theologian with a specialty in sexual violence studies. During the 1980’s she worked on a rape crisis line in Los Angeles County where she also co-facilitated group therapy sessions for recently raped women. A college professor, she taught sexual violence studies content to successive generations of undergraduate students. Since retirement, Krall continues to write about sexualized violence.
