This guy like other Vatican “Diplomats” has diplomatic immunity and the US does not have an extradition treaty with the Vatican, so he is safe back home and we will likely never hear about him again.
The Roman Catholic Church is only religion on earth that has “diplomats” and diplomatic immunity and the Vatican/church readily use this to shield from prosecution priests, bishops and cardinals (who have molested children or covered up for molesters).
Protestants, Jews, Muslims, Hindus and every other religion does not have diplomats and diplomatic immunity-why should the Roman Catholic Church?
It’s time to put an end to this Roman Catholic diplomatic immunity crap so that priests and high ranking Vatican molesters and enablers can’t use this to escape prosecution.
