2007 STORY #50:   THE ACLU AND ME

Back in 1977 I received a call from my state senator..he said to me that since I am such a good letter writter would I help to get NYork State to outlaw child abuse..exploitation...I said ok and give me the info..he did..I wrote a letter to my local paper outlining how child porn is so horrible etc and how the ACLU has such a mistaken belief that it deserves first amendment rights..anyway..my letter was published..two weeks later he called me..informing me that my letter generated more support and the bill was passed....children...regardless of who has abused them must be protected.....I did the best I could...thanks for listening.....
