Barbara Doris,We spoke on the telephone over a year ago and you were going to get back with me,about a question on Msrg. Cini in Delaware, about not disclosing my name to the Court in Wilmington,De. I was explaining to you about Priest" who i feel Msrg.Cini" is protecting, Fr. Thomas Hanley.I read online court papers that Msrg.Cini signed" at the end of the bankruptcy hearing in 2011,it stated that he swore,to the State of Delaware Court that he'"Msrg.Cini, knew of no other child that was molested by another Priest ,Msrg.Cini lied to the Court in the State of Delaware.I had told Cini, what little i can remember, what had happened to me back in 1967,68,69 all i can remember is"that i was in the 6th.gr. I hope that you can help me,so i can let the victims know and also the Court in the State of Delaware"that Msrg.Cini is a Liar.He is still covering up and protecting (Priest) Child Molesters ! Thank you

Barbara: Here's a newsflash from the USCCB Website: Pope Names New Bishop Of Manchester, New Hampshire; Accepts Resignation Of Bishop McCormack! McCormack is retiring, just in time, so that now if a similar trial to that of Monsignor Lynn's is ever held in New Hampshire or Boston, Bishop McCormack won't be too busy to be a key witness!

Hi" Barbara,I have the same Question as Frank Forencich"I was molested about 45 years ago years ago By Fr.Thomas Hanley at St.Paul's School in Wilmington ,De. and I can't any longer relate to Thomas Hanley as Fr." or any other Priest"anyway, I spoke to Judith Miller and another person in De.and they said the same thing as The therapist told Frank Forencich, that for years I have suppressed the event, the only thing I have any memory of is him grabing me from behind and the rest of it I'm left in the dark about ,I can't remember 99% day's at school,i don't remember graduating from there but" I have the paper signed by the eight grade nunn and it states that " I did graduate.
I have had no therapy at all " but I was told that " it is PTSD and that through therapy"I could recover my memory" how" or what do you think about repressed an recovered memories, from a traumatic experience "are they reliable ? can a person regain their memory through Therapy ? can & would it help ? I hope to hear from you soon" Sincerely.
Patricia A. Sulecki

Hi Barbara,
I'm new here and you're my point person. I have a question about memory. I was molested about 40 years ago, but I don't really remember the full extent of the event. It may have been a minor groping, but it may have been major. My therapist suggests that I'm suppressing the full extent of the event, but I just don't remember. What does SNAP have to say about repressed and recovered memories of these traumatic events? Are they reliable? Is it worth the effort to try and recover such memories?
What's the state of the art on this?
Thanks,
Frank Forencich
