Former MO Priest arrested in NJ: Victims respond

Statement by David Clohessy of SNAP, 314 566 9790

McAllister is a brave and compassionate man whose patience and persistence is making kids safer. It is an honor to know him and watch his tremendous growth as he tenaciously recovers from his awful childhood trauma cause by a pedophile priest and corrupt church officials who secretly protected and transferred him.

We are deeply grateful to all those victims who are cooperating with law enforcement to get this dangerous predator off the streets.

(SNAP, the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests, is the world’s oldest and largest support group for clergy abuse victims. We’ve been around for 22 years and have more than 9,000 members across the globe. Despite the word “priest” in our title, we have members who were molested by religious figures of all denominations, including nuns, rabbis, bishops, and Protestant ministers. Our website is SNAPnetwork.org)
