Statement by Dr. Ann Hagan Webb, February 23, 2004:

"I'm sure you all join me in the sadness of losing someone so courageous in his efforts
to speak about his abuse by John Geoghan. His voice spoke for so many survivors who couldn't yet speak their truths.

It is times such as this that we realize the value and importance in the strength we find in each other. Our collective experience of clergy abuse has brought with it an unspoken bond of loyalty and love for one another. Let's use that bond now as we reach out to
each other in our sadness and grief for Patrick."
