SNAP responds to arrest of youth pastor in WA
No matter what the “age of consent” is, it is always hurtful and dangerous when someone abuses their position of authority to have sex with a minor. It is especially troubling because it is impossible to guarantee that Lim waited until his victim became 17; the abuse could easily have started much earlier.
We are glad that the police responded swiftly in this case, and we are proud of the brave victim for coming forward. We hope others who may have seen, suspected, or suffered Lim’s crimes come forward and immediately make a report to police.
