I have read your story. I too live in Leesburg for the past 7 years. I am originally from Connecticut and was abused by a priest at a young age. I fought the memories for years and years. When they came back I was able to bury them. But in recent years at the age of 50 ish, people around me began to make feel like the trapped and violated child and all the emotions and pain took over. I was not longer who I was but rather two parts. It has been a difficult journey, so many ups and downs but I have been working diligently in therapy and support groups. They are helping and maybe someday, when convenient for you we could meet for coffee in the area. I have been having ups and downs and you seem to have been able to put in better perspective.
