Thank You Call to Action

Thank you for belonging to an organization that supports clergy abuse survivors.

We are grateful that you care. There are hundreds of victims who are still trapped in secrecy, silence and shame. Please help us reach out to them.

Our group, SNAP, is the nation's largest and oldest self-help group for men and women who have been victimized by religious authority figures.

There are hundreds of others like us who are still trapped in secrecy. Please help us to reach out to them.

We are asking each of you to take this flyer back to your home parish.

Please give it to your pastor, parochial school principal, your minister and bishop.

Ask them to put it in church bulletins, the diocesan newspaper, church sponsored websites, on school bulletin boards and similar places.

Urge them to actively seek out the "lost sheep," - those who have been severely hurt and need support.

Please contact us and let us know of your progress.

If we reach just one wounded person and help them to get support, enter therapy, stop considering committing suicide, or contact the police, we will have made a huge difference.

Please help make a difference for victims in your diocese. For other ways to help, please see the SNAP web site, www.snapnetwork.org

Thank you.
