IN--Victims blast Subway pitchman Jared Fogle over appeal

For immediate release: Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015

Statement by Barbara Dorris of St. Louis, SNAP outreach director (314-503-0003 cell, [email protected])

We’re saddened but not surprised that ex-Subway pitchman Jared Fogle is appealing his child porn  sentence. That’s just what predators do: exploit the legal system like they exploit their victims.

We’re sad though because such legal maneuvers often delay healing and closure for victims.

We hope Fogle changes his mind. If not, we hope he loses his appeal. And for the sake of his victims, we hope he will quietly serve his sentence, get treatment and enable those who he hurt to move on with their lives without his self-serving behavior or interference.
