Megan, standing up for yourself is good. You have value and dignity as a unique creation of God. It is also important to forgive. God has forgiven you all your sins by what Jesus did for you on the cross. (Read Romans 3-5). When I forgave my molestor by faith, as an act of obedience, then the love of God overwhelmed me and healed me. “No one who takes refuge in Him shall be put to shame.”
