Reiner Klein, I am so sorry that you too have suffered abuse within the catholic homes… keep in mind, YOU did not deserve it, and it was not your fault….and you are very brave to sharing your story…

We understand your pain.

Hi Gary, if you were sexually abused while in West Virginia, there is no “criminal statute of limitations” for felonies, and child sex abuse is considered a felony in that state..
I wish you peace and good luck, and thank you for sharing your painful story. You are very brave.

Robert… I can answer one of your questions…

SNAP is no way affiliated with the church officials.. most of our over 10,000 members are victims ( who were loyal catholic kids )…who were sexually abused by catholic clergy.

We are here for the victims and those who have been abused and harmed by priests, bishops, employees, volunteers, etc…

This very courageous young girl is to be commended for speaking up and taking action to expose the truth. This is an extremely hard thing to do, especially in the Philippines, but keep in mind your silence only hurts, and by speaking up there is a chance for healing, exposing the truth, and therefore protecting other children.

Let’s hope that others, who have witnessed, suspected, or may have been harmed by Fr. Raul Cabonce will find the courage and strength to speak up, contact law enforcement, not the church officials.

quoted: by diocese’s spokeswoman Rebecca Summers"
“We’ve been cooperating with law enforcement since May 12.”

It is so callous and reckless that Finn and church officials did not cooperate with law enforcement when they first learned about Ratigan’s crimes, so that he could have been jailed before he abused again.

How many little children and their parents could have been spared?
Hopefully the full truth will be exposed by the grand jury investigation, so that criminals can be held accountable and kids can be safe.
