One thing that seems to me to be obvious but not well followed is that the hidng of these vile crimes by the hierarchy was because the hierarchy did the same thing.

I know a 45 year old victim who was abused when about 13. He still cannot talk about it without breaking down in tears. He’s kind of like a victim of PTSD
